Frame Vastgoed has signed a long-term lease with Pon Luxury Cars for a new location of Porsche Centre Rotterdam, directly on the A20 in the Rotterdam ‘Spaanse Polder’. This is combined with exclusive showrooms for other luxury car brands from Pon Luxury Cars.
With this, Porsche Centre Rotterdam will leave the current location at the Autostrada. Frame has long been the owner of the location along the A20 and proudly presents the plans it has developed in collaboration with Pon Luxury Cars. This is how Paul John de Jong, Director of Development at Frame, explains: 'For us, the conclusion of this agreement is the definitive recognition of our vision for this place. We recognize Pon's entrepreneurship to tackle this location in a progressive way. We are very proud of this and expect it to be a huge boost for the area. An area in which we make in a long-term investment.'
The arrival of Pon Luxury Cars to the ‘Spaanse Polder’ is another important step for the upgrading of this area. Area manager Spaanse Polder, Jean-Paul Andela, is therefore very pleased on behalf of the municipality of Rotterdam: 'Pon's choice for this location is a confirmation for us of the continuing efforts of the municipalities of Rotterdam and Schiedam and the entrepreneurs involved to improve the housing climate of the Spanish polder to the level that it deserves. This place has always occupied a prominent position for Rotterdam, we are pleased that this can be continued in a modern way.'
Frame is expected to start in March 2019 with the work for the renovation of the approximately 16,500 m² building. The opening of the building with the new showrooms of luxury car brands is expected in the first quarter of 2020.
